About

A lifelong art lover …

Angela studied art in high school and college. At an early age she was drawn to the whimsical style of south Mississippi artist Walter Anderson. In her college studies, she was introduced to the Impressionists. If in a big city, she never missed an opportunity to see works by Monet, Renoir or Degas.

After taking a few decades off to raise a family, she decided to pick the paint brushes back up. In her mid-forties, she and her family moved to Florida’s emerald coast. The laidback, beach lifestyle fueled her creative spirit. Her love of color and movement can be seen in all of her pieces.

Growing up on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and raising a family in Dothan, Alabama, another move south fit this southern girl’s lifestyle. She loves the coastal way of life; the sunsets that God paints in the Florida skies take her breath away.

She attended college in Mississippi graduating with a bachelor of art’s degree in communication. It was there that she met her husband, Thomas, of 23 years. Together, they are raising two wonderful children, Anna Kate and Frank.

I hope my art inspires you to look at life with hope and optimism. In each piece, you can see God’s truth of love that He has for each and every one of us.

Blessings, Angela
